Feel old yet?
Teen Mom alum Farrah Abraham is preparing her 15-year-old daughter Sophia Abraham for a new stage in her life: being a licensed driver.
The 33-year-old, who shares Sophia with her late ex Derek Underwood, has been doing “parent-taught driver’s ed” with her only child, sharing the videos on Instagram.
“I’m sure she can do this,” Farrah declared of Sophia in a recent video before asking, “Do I think my daughter’s ready for parent-taught driver’s ed?”
Farrah also shared that Sophia has been car shopping for her new ride in an Aug. 17 Instagram pic.
And Sophia, who looked totally transformed with her half purple half black hair, facial piercings, and black lipstick, had some jokes of her own.
When Farrah asked, “What would count as a distraction in the car?” Sophia quipped in response, “You.”
And as for why the teen wants her license, she had a specific goal in mind. When asked where she’d first go after obtaining the card, Sophia replied, “Petco to get mice for my snakes.”
In the past, the former MTV star had a run-in with the law involving herself behind the wheel. In 2013, Farrah was arrested for a DUI in Omaha, Nebraska, when she was 20. She took a breathalyzer at the scene and was above the legal limit, however, she denied the charges on Twitter at the time.
"It's Amazing what people believe & makeup (LOVE MY LIFE)" she wrote. "#Thank #God #I'mSuccessful & I don't care about drama! #HaveAGreatDay."
However, several months later, Farrah pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and had to attend a court-ordered six month program, which included alcohol education classes and had her driving privileges revoked for 60 days.
After making her TV debut on 16 and Pregnant, Farrah went on to appear on Teen Mom where she showed her journey with parenting Sophia.
“What a good duo,” Farrah said of herself and her daughter on Bunnie XO’s Dumb Blonde podcast in April. “I feel like we’ve definitely grown up together.”
